Carmel and
Ben Davis advanced through the sectional over the weekend. The Greyhounds won
the opening round of tourney play and the Giants finished third in the field.
The top three teams in each sectional advance to regional competition. Here is
a look at the complete results.
BEN DAVIS SECTIONAL
Fifth-ranked Carmel shoots a 294 to
down runner-up No. 17 Zionsville by 30 shots for the team title, with host Ben
Davis another two strokes back in third and also advancing Friday at South
Grove. Carmel’s Ari Savich defeats teammate Briana Midkiff via tiebreaker for
medalist honors after each shoots a 72.
